Terms and refunds
Last updated: 1 October 2026
These terms apply to videography, photography and drone services arranged by MBC Media, operated by Messenger Enterprises Pty Ltd (ABN 87 693 646 114). Your written proposal sets out the scope, deliverables and price for your job. If the proposal and these terms differ, the proposal applies.
How we work
- MBC Media is your point of contact. We brief and book a local videographer or photographer from our network to carry out your shoot.
- Proposals are valid for 14 days from the proposal date.
- Payment terms are shown on your proposal and invoice.
- Anything outside the agreed scope is quoted and approved by you before it goes ahead.
Your footage
- When your job is finished, we transfer your files to you through a secure link. We only delete the footage at our end once you've confirmed you have it.
- Ownership and use of the final content is set out in your proposal.
Weather, access and locations
Outdoor and drone work depends on weather, site access and airspace rules. If a shoot can't safely go ahead, we'll work with you to reschedule. Drone footage is only captured where it can be flown legally and safely.
Refunds
- If we can't deliver the service you paid for, you'll get a refund for the part we couldn't deliver.
- If the work has a major problem, we'll fix it or give you a refund, in line with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Our services come with guarantees that can't be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to supplying the service again or refunding the fee you paid for it.
